Training is not only useful and fun, but it helps our dogs live a longer, healthier life.
My training services are for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and needs.
I take a proactive, whole dog, emotional consideration approach to training and behavior.
Custom plans to create harmony in your home. Offering group, private and virtual training options to suit every doggie parent's needs.
Having trouble with jumping, biting, chewing behaviors? I can show you the simple steps to solve them!
Having leash pulling or reactivity issues? I can show you how to resolve these issues!
It is true that the younger we begin training with our dogs the easier it can be, BUT dogs of all ages can benefit from training! From the first night home with an 8 week old Golden Doodle to a newly adopted senior who came with some emotional baggage, to the 3-year-old Lab who won't stop digging up the garden, and the 7-year-old Spaniel who is chasing the new cat, or the 2-year-old Terrier who likes to bark ferociously at passers-by. I can help develop a plan and walk you through each step of the process toward your behavioral goals.
During times of transition, dogs can struggle with the changes. Things like their owners having a baby, a new dog or pet coming into the house, the family moving, grieving the loss of a family member, coming to a new home after adoption, or traumatic experiences. I can help ease you and your dog through these challenging situations.
Dog training is about more than just basic obedience commands. Those cues are essential in helping to communicate with our pups and come in handy in almost every possible scenario in our human world. But, that's just the start! Sometimes, our dogs develop unhealthily, nuisance, or even dangerous behavioral habits such as barking, bolting or chasing, biting, resource guarding, various forms of "aggression", or bad manners to name just a few.
These "bad habits" can be difficult to manage and can get out of control quickly. I am here to help you get to the root of the problem and will be there every step of the way in guiding you and your dog through these stressful situations.
